Treasury Analyst (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Treasury Analyst to join a collaborative finance team in Manchester on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. Reporting to the Treasury Manager, you will support daily cash management, liquidity optimisation and a range of treasury activities within a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash positioning, monitor bank balances and produce cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare short‑ and long‑term cash flow forecasts and support month‑end treasury reporting.
• Maintain banking relationships, manage banking platforms and assist with foreign exchange and funding activities as required.
• Ensure adherence to treasury controls and processes, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a treasury or cash‑management role.
• Strong analytical ability with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
• Proactive, organised and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Relevant treasury qualifications (e.g., AMCT) are advantageous but not essential.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience using financial systems for cash management.
