Trust Administrator – Family Office (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Trust Administrator to join a family office in London’s West End. The position offers a hybrid working pattern – three days in the office and two days remote – and the chance to work across a varied portfolio of family and charitable trusts and estates.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day trust and estate administration.
• Prepare trust accounts and income tax returns.
• Calculate inheritance tax, capital gains tax liabilities and trust distributions.
• Manage and reconcile trust bank accounts.
• Prepare beneficiary payments, R185s and related documentation.
• Liaise with clients, stockbrokers, HMRC and other professional advisers.
• Assist with trust fund distributions and beneficiaries attaining absolute interests.
• Prepare cash‑flow reports and maintain accurate records.
• Stay up to date with changes in trust and tax legislation.

Required profile

• Organised and detail‑oriented with previous experience in trust and estate administration.
• Knowledge of trust taxation, accounting and compliance requirements.
• Experience preparing trust accounts and tax returns.
• STEP qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Solid understanding of trust structures and beneficiary requirements.
• Experience with CCH Trust Accounts, CCH Central and Accounts Production software.
