Trust Doctor – Paediatrics (ST3-8)

About the role

The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Trust Doctor in Paediatrics (ST3-8) on a fixed‑term contract until September 2027. This position offers a broad paediatric experience for doctors wishing to develop acute, neonatal, and outpatient skills within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide acute inpatient paediatric care on the ward.
• Work in the Paediatric Assessment Unit and neonatal care areas.
• Run outpatient clinics and participate in the resident middle‑grade on‑call rota.
• Engage in teaching, clinical audit and quality‑improvement projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues across a range of paediatric subspecialties.

Required profile

• Doctor at ST3‑8 level or a career trainee seeking further paediatric experience.
• Commitment to high‑quality care for children and young people.
• Willingness to contribute to education and service development.
