About the role
We are partnering with a leading specialist SEN school in Aylesbury to recruit an Unqualified Maths Teacher for a long‑term, full‑time placement starting in September. The role offers the chance to work in a supportive environment with small class sizes and the potential to become a permanent member of staff.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Manage small class sizes with strong classroom support.
- Adapt teaching strategies for students with Autism, SEMH, MLD or other additional needs.
- Work closely with the leadership team to monitor progress and support behaviour management.
Required profile
- Experience teaching secondary‑aged Maths in SEN, specialist or alternative provision settings.
- Familiarity with supporting learners with Autism, SEMH, MLD or similar needs.
- Confidence in classroom management and lesson differentiation.
- Passion for helping students achieve recognised Maths qualifications.

- Mathematics curriculum delivery.
