US Tax Advisor – In‑house

About the role

The role involves joining a leading global professional services firm’s in‑house finance team to manage complex US tax compliance for non‑US entities and individuals. You will work closely with international stakeholders, providing accurate tax filings and supporting cross‑border tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file US federal and state tax returns for partnerships and individuals, including K‑1s.
• Produce detailed tax calculations, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Manage partner‑related tax issues such as profit allocations and tax reserves.
• Review quarterly US tax pre‑payments and state obligations.
• Maintain tax ledgers, reconcile financial records and support balance‑sheet reporting.
• Coordinate administrative tasks including ITIN applications and IRS documentation.
• Liaise with global tax teams on transfer pricing, withholding tax and other international projects.

Required profile

• Experience in US federal and state tax compliance for individuals or partnerships.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliations.
• Progress toward or interest in a professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CTA).
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Effective communication skills for working with global teams.
