UX Designer – Hybrid, £60k, Hemel Hempstead

About the role

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our growing digital team in Hemel Hempstead. You will shape the customer experience across the entire journey, using data‑driven insight, experimentation and user‑centred design to deliver intuitive digital products that drive commercial impact.

Key responsibilities

• Own and enhance customer journeys from discovery through to booking.
• Identify friction points and deliver seamless, user‑friendly experiences.
• Analyse customer behaviour with ContentSquare to generate actionable insights.
• Provide UX input for A/B testing and optimisation programmes.
• Collaborate with product and commercial teams to improve conversion rates.
• Conduct user research to validate ideas and inform design decisions.
• Champion accessibility and best practice across digital experiences.
• Define UX standards to ensure consistency across all journeys.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a UX or digital optimisation role.
• Strong customer‑journey analysis and optimisation skills.
• Experience using behavioural analytics platforms such as ContentSquare.
• Knowledge of A/B testing tools like AB Tasty.
• Ability to work closely with product or commercial teams.
• Capability to translate insight into practical improvements.
• Experience in high‑volume digital environments (desirable).
• Understanding of transactional or booking journeys and inclusive design.
• Previous senior‑level UX experience is advantageous.
