Vice President, Operational Due Diligence – Wealth Management

About the role

Join a global wealth management leader as a Vice President in the Operational Due Diligence team. You will evaluate and monitor third‑party investment managers, applying rigorous operational risk analysis to protect client outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Support operational due diligence reviews of alternative investment managers and traditional long‑only managers.
• Develop and disseminate due diligence questionnaires across investment strategies and products.
• Request, review, organize, and retain documentation using CRM tools.
• Prepare for and attend due diligence meetings with third‑party managers, including travel across Europe and Asia.
• Evaluate operational risks in areas such as infrastructure, counterparties, service providers, valuation, cybersecurity, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Review and score questionnaire responses to identify strengths, gaps, and follow‑up items.
• Collaborate with governance, risk, compliance, and internal audit partners to ensure aligned risk oversight.
• Represent the firm with senior executives of external managers.

Required profile

• Significant experience in operational due diligence within wealth management or investment research.
• Proven ability to analyse complex operational structures and present clear, well‑reasoned opinions.
• Willingness to travel internationally for due diligence meetings.
• Strong collaborative mindset, able to work with governance, risk, compliance and audit stakeholders.
