Volunteer & Workforce Development Coordinator

About the role

The Volunteer & Workforce Development Coordinator provides essential administrative and project‑management support for British Rowing’s learning and workforce delivery operations. Working closely with the Volunteer & Workforce team, you will ensure smooth planning, scheduling and administration of courses, development opportunities and bespoke projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage learner and member enquiries via desk and phone, delivering high‑quality customer service.
• Support learners through registration, course access, completion and certification, including safeguarding training administration.
• Administer British Rowing’s learning and booking systems (JustGo and RowHow), set up online classrooms, learner accounts and tutor resources.
• Coordinate course feedback, quality‑assurance processes and distribution of physical resources to tutors.
• Assist the Volunteer & Workforce Development Delivery Lead in planning a rolling 12‑month national calendar of learning opportunities and reporting on data.
• Handle financial processes related to course delivery and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Confident user of digital platforms, able to learn new tools quickly.
• Proven project‑management experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Effective communicator with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience managing financial processes.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused and able to resolve issues constructively.
• Committed to inclusive practices and safeguarding standards.
