Waiter/Waitress – Full-time Hospitality Role

About the role

Join Malmaison’s bustling restaurant team in Manchester as a Waiter/Waitress. You will be the first point of contact for guests, helping to create a smooth and memorable dining experience. The role offers flexible shift patterns across evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and answering basic queries.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen.
• Serve dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen and management to manage table flow and timing.
• Process payments and handle cash or card transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas and adhere to health & safety standards.
• Assist with stock replenishment and basic bar duties when required.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering great customer service.
• Willingness to learn new skills and follow brand training.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and varied shift patterns.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle a fast‑paced environment.
• Minimum age 16; under‑18s receive a reduced rate.
