Warehouse Operative & Forklift Driver (Temp-to-Perm)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative and Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse in Gloucester on a temporary‑to‑permanent basis. The role involves supporting daily stock movements, goods‑in and goods‑out processes, and maintaining a clean and safe environment during standard Monday‑Friday hours.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently to load and unload lorries.
• Move stock throughout the warehouse and yard, including loading/unloading goods to and from stillages.
• Assist with general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and inventory handling.
• Support yard work when required and ensure the site remains organised.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety throughout the facility.

Required profile

• Valid experience operating a forklift (FLT).
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, hardworking and flexible approach to shift patterns.
