Windows Server Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Windows Server Administrator to join our technology‑focused organisation. You will be responsible for maintaining, securing and optimising our critical Windows‑based server infrastructure across on‑premises and hybrid cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and certificate services.
• Manage and troubleshoot virtualisation platforms such as Hyper‑V or VMware.
• Monitor server performance, resolve issues proactively and implement security controls, patching and compliance.
• Perform backups, support disaster recovery procedures and document configurations.
• Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure stability and integration.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Windows Server administration.
• Solid understanding of AD, DNS, DHCP, PKI and GPO.
• Experience with Hyper‑V or VMware virtualisation.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident‑resolution capabilities.
• Familiarity with server monitoring tools.
