Womenswear Buyer

About the role

We are seeking a senior Womenswear Buyer to shape the future of a growing womenswear brand. The role offers autonomy to develop collections, drive commercial performance and influence the brand’s direction within a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver compelling womenswear ranges that balance commercial performance with brand identity.
• Lead strategic range planning, creating balanced assortments that excite customers and maximise sales.
• Own the full buying lifecycle from concept, sourcing and negotiation to order placement, launch and trading performance.
• Identify product gaps, emerging trends and new opportunities through customer insight and market research.
• Analyse sales and trading data, adjusting plans quickly to optimise opportunities and mitigate risk.
• Partner with merchandising to manage OTB, seasonal planning, stock levels and budget delivery.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, onboarding new factories and driving margin improvement.
• Collaborate with garment tech and design teams to ensure fit, quality and consistency.

Required profile

• Established senior buyer with strong commercial acumen.
• Passion for womenswear product and ability to curate inspiring collections.
• Proven experience shaping category strategy and reacting swiftly to market trends.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to develop supplier partnerships.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
