Sales Order Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sales Order Administrator to join a leading building‑related company in Altrincham. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth order processing from enquiry to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and other communication channels.
• Process customer orders in the ERP system and issue order confirmations.
• Advise customers on delivery dates and manage weekly delivery bookings.
• Answer questions regarding warranties and terms of sale.
• Support the finance team with accounting enquiries and issue credit notes when required.
• Collaborate closely with Sales Managers to provide a seamless end‑to‑end service.

Required profile

• Previous administration experience in order processing.
• Experience in a customer service or sales administration environment.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Comfort working with large volumes of data and maintaining accurate records.

Required skills

• SAP (experience beneficial).

What we offer

• Salary £24,000 per year (£13.18 per hour).
• 35‑hour work week, Monday‑Friday, 09:00‑17:00.
