Womenswear Buyer – Knitwear & E‑Commerce (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven Womenswear Buyer to join our fast‑paced fashion business, focusing on knitwear and PU categories. The role offers the chance to shape product strategy, influence range building and make a tangible impact across both e‑commerce and retail channels.

Key responsibilities

• Own the buying strategy for selected womenswear categories, including knitwear and PU.
• Collaborate with Merchandising to develop seasonal and quarterly plans.
• Build balanced, commercial ranges covering product, colour, fabrication, shape and price.
• Partner with Design, Technical and Sourcing teams to deliver products on time, within cost and quality targets.
• Trade weekly, analysing sales, stock and product performance to identify opportunities.
• Use data and customer insight to make fast, commercial decisions.
• Present category strategies and performance updates to senior stakeholders.
• Identify trends, gaps and new opportunities to maximise sales.
• Manage the critical path and ensure key deadlines are met.
• Develop strong supplier relationships and support production planning.
• Contribute to wider projects and process improvements as the business grows.
• Deliver against agreed sales, margin and stock targets.

Required profile

• Proven womenswear buying experience in a fast‑paced, high‑street or mid‑market environment.
• Strong commercial eye and genuine passion for product.
• Confident in trading a department and making data‑led decisions.
• Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working at pace.
• Understanding of the womenswear customer and current trends.
• Experience across e‑commerce and/or store environments is desirable.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
