Womenswear Print Designer (12‑month Fixed Term)

About the role

Joules is seeking a Womenswear Print Designer to join its Head Office team for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Based at The Barn in Market Harborough, you will help shape the brand’s future print collections, working closely with the Senior Print Designer and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, progress and produce profitable, brand‑right print ranges across womenswear departments.
• Create print boards, colour palettes and present seasonal trend proposals to senior leadership.
• Partner with Buying, Design and Merchandising to build balanced ranges for the “good, better, best” pricing tiers and analyse weekly trading performance.
• Own colour matching and prepare factory‑ready pitch sheets, ensuring strict quality standards.
• Drive innovation by exploring cost‑effective, forward‑thinking print finishes and organise inspiration trips to translate macro and micro trends into actionable design insights.

Required profile

• Degree or HND in fashion or textiles, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Solid technical understanding of print production and screen separation.
• Genuine passion for the Joules brand and its customer lifestyle.
