Year 1 Teacher – Full‑Time Position in Walton‑on‑Thames

About the role

An exceptional primary school in Walton‑on‑Thames is seeking a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join its team from September 2026. This full‑time, contractor‑based position offers a supportive environment where staff are valued and pupils are eager to learn.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 1 lessons, with a focus on phonics and early reading.

Required profile

• Hold a valid UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching EYFS or KS1, ideally Year 1.
