Year 3 Class Teacher

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Year 3 Class Teacher for a mainstream primary school in West London rated "Good" by Ofsted. The role runs from September 2026 to July 2027, covering the full academic year on a full‑time, term‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Year 3 lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Mark assessments, track pupil progress and provide feedback.
• Organise and attend parent evenings and communicate regularly with families.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and uphold safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and fellow teachers to support school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate with online update service.
• Two professional references covering the last two years.
