Year 4 Class Teacher – Temporary Full‑Time Position

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Year 4 Class Teacher for a thriving Ofsted “Good” primary school in West London. The role is a full‑time, temporary position covering the academic year, with the possibility of extension or a permanent offer based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Year 4 lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Mark student work, assess progress and provide feedback.
• Organise and attend parent evenings and communicate student achievement.
• Maintain classroom discipline and promote a positive learning environment.
• Follow safeguarding policies and complete required safeguarding training.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate with online update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references covering the last two years.
