Year 4 Teacher – Primary School (Hammersmith & Fulham)

About the role

Academics, in partnership with a highly regarded primary school in Hammersmith & Fulham, is seeking an experienced Year 4 teacher to join its Key Stage 2 team from September 2026. You will work in a supportive, ambitious environment with motivated, well‑behaved pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons for a Year 4 class.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Maintain high expectations for achievement, behaviour and attendance.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop a broad, enriching curriculum.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching Lower Key Stage 2.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom practice and subject knowledge.
• Enthusiastic, nurturing and creative approach to teaching.

Required skills

• Curriculum planning and delivery for Key Stage 2.
• Assessment and data‑driven instruction.
• Classroom management.
