Year 6 Teacher – Blackpool

About the role

We are partnering with a welcoming primary school in Blackpool to find an enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher. The role starts in September and offers a full‑time, long‑term placement where you will guide pupils through their final year of Key Stage 2 and prepare them for secondary education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Support pupils in SATs preparation and monitor their progress.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
• Assess, record and report on pupil achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6.
• Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs requirements.
• Commitment to raising standards and pupil outcomes.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
