360 Excavator Operator – Telecoms Civils

About the role

We are seeking experienced 360 Excavator Operators to join our telecoms civil engineering teams across Scotland. Based in Livingston, you will work on a variety of telecom infrastructure projects for clients such as Openreach, Vodafone and EE, delivering foundations, ducting and related civil works.

Key responsibilities

• Excavate for telecom cabinet and monopole foundations
• Install and divert ducts, draw pits and chambers
• Carry out shuttering, formwork and concrete foundation preparation
• Backfill and compact excavated areas
• Work safely around live underground services
• Support groundworkers when required
• Maintain a clean and safe site environment

Required profile

• CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator Operator qualification
• Valid CSCS card
• Previous experience in civil engineering and utility/telecom works
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and site instructions
• Good understanding of safe excavation practices
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
