3rd Line Engineer – Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a highly skilled Managed Services team. You will handle technical escalations, manage complex incidents, support infrastructure projects, and act as a senior technical resource across cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve high‑priority and complex technical issues.
• Manage major incidents from investigation through to resolution.
• Support customer infrastructure projects and deployments.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to support engineers.
• Work across Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange, virtualisation, networking, and security technologies.
• Produce technical documentation and knowledge articles.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong experience within a Managed Services Provider (MSP).
• Expertise supporting Microsoft infrastructure technologies.
• Knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange, networking, and firewalls.
• Experience with virtualisation platforms.
• Strong customer‑facing communication skills.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities.
