Account Executive – Commercial Insurance (South London)

About the role

We are looking for an Account Executive to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients across South London. You will build long-term relationships with SME and mid-market businesses, delivering tailored insurance solutions and ensuring client retention.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial insurance clients across South London.
• Build long-term relationships with business owners and senior stakeholders.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
• Lead renewal strategy and negotiate terms with insurers.
• Collaborate with Account Handlers to provide consistent service.
• Generate new business through referrals, introductions and personal network.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Account Executive in commercial insurance, or a senior Account Handler ready to step up.
• Strong client-facing skills and credibility in the insurance market.
• Ability to retain and grow a book of business with a relationship-led approach.
• Good knowledge of the South London market.
