Account Handler / Manager – Commercial Insurance

About the role

Join a supportive team as an Account Handler / Manager, responsible for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. You will enjoy flexibility to work from Central London, Watford, or fully remote while delivering high‑quality service and driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial clients, providing advice and support.
• Handle renewals, mid‑term adjustments, and client queries efficiently.
• Prepare policy documentation, submissions, and insurer communications.
• Liaise with insurers to negotiate terms and secure competitive coverage.
• Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities across commercial insurance products.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal procedures.
• Support Account Executives in delivering excellent client experiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Commercial Account Handler or Manager.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and UK market risks.
• Confident in managing client relationships and providing technical advice.
• ACII qualification or working towards it (desirable, not essential).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively, whether onsite or remotely.
