Accountant – Full‑time, On‑site in Chichester

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time, on‑site Accountant to join our Chichester office. You will work closely with Portfolio Managers and junior staff, delivering high‑quality statutory accounts and tax services for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, LLPs, sole traders and partnerships.
• Complete corporation tax returns and personal tax returns under the supervision of Portfolio Managers.
• Liaise with clients to gather information, explain financial results in clear, accessible language and respond to queries promptly.
• Provide direct support to Portfolio Managers and assist junior staff during their training.

Required profile

• AAT Level 4 qualified or ACCA part‑qualified (or qualified by experience).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial and management accounting and UK statutory reporting.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive client relationships.
• High attention to detail and a systematic approach to meeting deadlines.
