Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper – Music Specialist

About the role
Join a leading accountancy firm that supports some of the biggest names in the music industry. As an Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper you will act as a Tour Accountant, helping musicians, bands, DJs and management companies manage their day‑to‑day finances, budgets and tax affairs.
Key responsibilities
- Create initial tour budgets and monitor ongoing expenses.
- Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping, invoicing and payments on behalf of clients.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings.
- Analyse income streams, review contracts and provide financial advice.
- Collaborate with artists and their teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 months experience in a UK accountancy firm.
- AAT or ACCA qualification – either part‑qualified or fully qualified.
- Strong understanding of UK tax, VAT and bookkeeping principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
