Accounts Assistant – Finance Team (Hybrid)

About the role

FryerMiles is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Accounts Assistant to join a growing finance team. The role supports the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring timely invoicing, efficient debt collection, accurate cash allocation and solid financial record keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the aged debt ledger.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and proactively follow up overdue accounts by telephone and email.
• Provide regular updates and reporting on aged receivables.
• Raise sales invoices and credit notes accurately and promptly.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate customer account records.
• Support general finance administration and assist with ad‑hoc finance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies and relevant accounting standards.

Required profile

• Proactive, “can‑do” attitude with ownership of tasks.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting or finance systems.
• Previous experience in accounts receivable, credit control or finance administration.

What we offer
