Accounts Assistant – Luxury Retail (London)

About the role
The finance team of a globally recognised luxury fashion brand is looking for an Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Director. Based in London, you will help run the day‑to‑day finance operations for both e‑commerce and physical stores, ensuring accurate financial records and cash handling.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily e‑commerce and retail payment reconciliations.
- Track store cash balances, organise cash collections, maintain floats and investigate any differences.
- Take ownership of selected balance‑sheet accounts and complete the associated reconciliations.
- Support the Finance Director with cash analysis, auditor requests and ad‑hoc finance tasks.
Required profile
- Background in retail accounting, preferably working towards or holding an AAT qualification.
- Strong attention to detail and highly motivated.
- Comfortable working across multiple systems.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
