Accounts Payable Administrator – Hybrid

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our friendly head‑office finance team in Bath. The role is hybrid, offering a mix of office‑based and remote work, and is ideal for someone with experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and run supplier payment batches.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate outstanding balances.
• Respond to supplier queries promptly and professionally.
• Check employee expenses and address related queries.
• Process direct debit payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support month‑end processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proactive, reliable and keen to contribute to a positive team environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using finance systems.
