Accounts Semi Senior – Hybrid Working & Study Support

About the role

This position offers a blend of hands‑on accounting work and professional development within a growing practice. Based in Bath with hybrid flexibility, you will support a diverse client portfolio while progressing towards ACA or ACCA qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing statutory, management and ad‑hoc accounts for multiple clients.
• Support audit assignments, including detailed testing and analytical review.
• Prepare VAT returns and contribute to broader compliance activities.
• Collaborate closely with senior team members to deliver high‑quality client service.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Already commenced ACA or ACCA studies or planning to do so.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
