Accounts Senior – Accounting Practice in Bournemouth

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Senior to join our well‑established accountancy practice in Bournemouth. You will work within a supportive, collaborative team that values both client service and employee development.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review year‑end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Prepare corporate and personal tax returns.
• Complete and review VAT returns.
• Build strong client relationships, offering practical advice and handling day‑to‑day queries.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Work closely with managers and partners to maintain a high standard of client service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice, confident preparing accounts and tax returns for a varied client portfolio.
• ACA or ACCA qualification advantageous; part‑qualified accountants or those qualified by experience are also welcome.
• Strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
