Actuarial Analyst - Pensions

About the role

This position offers an early‑career actuary the chance to work within a fast‑growing pensions consultancy, gaining exposure to actuarial modelling, client advisory and the broader pensions consulting landscape. You will work closely with senior consultants and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality actuarial advice.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of actuarial advice to pension schemes, trustees and sponsoring employers.
• Perform actuarial calculations, modelling and data analysis.
• Draft client reports, presentations and recommendations.
• Attend client meetings and develop consulting skills.
• Assess the impact of legislative, demographic and market changes on pension schemes.
• Contribute to internal projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong academic background with a degree in a numerate subject.
• Experience within pensions or actuarial work is advantageous.
• Understanding of UK Defined Benefit pension schemes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, curious and eager to develop professionally.
