Administration Operations Manager – Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Administration Operations Manager to lead the Advice Support Functions within a regulated financial services business. The role will work closely with advisers, regional directors and training teams to enhance client experience and streamline service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee workflow management and resource allocation for Paraplanning & Planning Support teams.
• Drive operational efficiency and embed best‑practice processes across advice support functions.
• Own hiring, performance management and professional development of team members in partnership with People and Training teams.
• Provide regular performance and capacity updates to senior directors.
• Utilise management information to set performance metrics and support the Paraplanner bonus scheme.
• Act as first point of contact for escalations and ensure seamless onboarding of new hires.

Required profile

• Proven operational oversight in financial planning, paraplanning or client support.
• Experience managing teams in a fast‑paced, regulated financial services environment.
• Strong communication with advisers, directors and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to drive process optimisation and service excellence.
