About the role
Are you an organised and customer‑focused professional who can provide prospective families with an exceptional experience from their first enquiry through to enrolment? LVS Ascot is seeking an Admissions Officer to join its busy Admissions Team, supporting the recruitment of UK and international day pupils and boarders.
Key responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries from parents, pupils, agents and other stakeholders.
- Provide accurate information about the school, admissions procedures, fees, day places and boarding options.
- Manage applications from initial enquiry through registration, assessment, offer, acceptance and enrolment.
- Build positive relationships with prospective families and proactively follow up enquiries and applications.
- Coordinate school tours, interviews, assessments, taster days and admissions events.
- Liaise with academic, pastoral, boarding, finance, SEND and EAL colleagues.
- Support international applications and ensure required documentation is obtained.
- Maintain accurate admissions records using iSAMS.
- Monitor outstanding offers, conditions and joining documentation.
- Support Open Days, scholarship events and other recruitment activities.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
Required profile
- Warm, approachable and professional with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience in admissions, education, administration, customer service or a similar environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks and deadlines.
- Confidence communicating with parents, pupils and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping.
- Good Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Professional approach to confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience within an independent school, school admissions, boarding or international admissions is advantageous.
- Knowledge of UKVI requirements, educational agents or iSAMS is desirable.
