AI Development Lead

About the role

Zurich is accelerating its AI transformation and needs a hands‑on AI Development Lead to drive the adoption of AI across its Life, Health and Bank Distribution businesses. You will work within the Global Life team and the newly‑formed AI Lab, delivering cutting‑edge AI solutions at scale while mentoring colleagues on best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Support teams across Zurich Life, Health and Bank Distribution to become confident and self‑sufficient with AI, creating value‑driving use cases.
• Lead the prototyping of machine‑learning and generative‑AI solutions and transition them to production using cloud tools.
• Mentor colleagues on the art‑of‑the‑possible, emerging techniques and responsible AI practices.
• Collaborate with the AI Lab and data‑science, engineering and consulting teams to design next‑generation data & AI solutions.
• Drive digital transformation by redefining processes, solutions and enterprise platforms.

Required profile

• Innovative, visionary AI expert with a passion for solving business problems using ML and GenAI.
• Strong mentor mindset and enjoyment of supporting non‑technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with ambiguous problems and translating them into concrete solutions.
• Ability to explain complex AI concepts in clear, business‑focused language.
