AML Investigations Associate – Bournemouth

About the role

As an Associate in the EMEA Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Investigations team at JPMorgan Chase & Co., you will support the Global Financial Crimes Compliance function by investigating suspicious activity across the bank’s lines of business.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake client and company research using internal databases and public sources to assess unusual activity.
• Escalate and present cases to the weekly EMEA Financial Crimes Monitoring Committee and relevant Money Laundering Reporting Officers.
• Draft and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to law enforcement.
• Provide feedback to improve client due‑diligence documentation and risk categorisation.
• Develop knowledge of criminal methods and AML typologies to identify suspicious transactions.
• Participate in proactive investigative projects, regulatory enquiries and ad‑hoc reviews.
• Manage work queues to meet required time‑frames.
