Analytical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Analytical Engineer to join a leading UK personal lines insurer’s data and AI team. Working alongside Data & AI Engineers, Data Scientists and Architects, you will help design and deliver machine‑learning and AI‑driven solutions that improve product innovation and customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data products and pipelines.
• Ensure high‑quality, reliable datasets for analytics and AI use cases.
• Collaborate with product managers and agile squads to deliver data‑driven solutions, including GenAI applications.
• Integrate and transform data from multiple sources while adhering to data quality, governance and technical standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics engineering processes, tools and best practices across the data community.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake, preferably in AWS environments.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in agile, cross‑functional teams.
• Passion for building robust, scalable data platforms.
