Analytics Engineer (Mid level)

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑level Analytics Engineer to join our Engineering department in Edinburgh. You will help build and maintain our AWS‑based data platform, enabling business teams to access reliable, secure data for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Own and operate data pipelines, data warehouse and BI tooling.
• Source, model and make data available to support company strategy and daily operations.
• Ensure data accuracy, security and compliance.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, prioritize requests and provide guidance on data usage.
• Develop reports, visualisations and A/B test analyses for non‑technical audiences.
• Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of experimentation.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience designing and implementing data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Proven ability to manage your own backlog and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication skills to train and support stakeholders.
