Android Software Engineer (Onsite, London)

About the role

We are looking for an Android Software Engineer to join our London office on site. The role is ideal for developers with 1‑5 years of experience who want to work on a product used by thousands and grow under senior mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and design teams to develop and ship new features for our Android application.
• Write clean, maintainable code in Kotlin (and legacy Java) following MVVM/MVI architectural patterns.
• Transform Figma designs into pixel‑perfect UI using Jetpack Compose or XML layouts.
• Identify, debug and resolve performance bottlenecks and edge‑case crashes.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation and stay current with Android Jetpack libraries.

Required profile

• 1+ years of professional Android development experience (internships count if high‑impact).
• Strong foundation in Kotlin with solid understanding of Java.
• Good grasp of Android SDK components such as Activities, Fragments, Services and lifecycle management.
• Proactive “can‑do” attitude and willingness to ask for help when needed.
