Apprentice Retail Supervisor – Full‑time, Bodmin

About the role

Farmfoods is seeking an Apprentice Retail Supervisor for its Bodmin store. This full‑time apprenticeship offers 35 hours per week at £13.61 per hour, a Level 3 Customer Service Specialist qualification and hands‑on experience in shop supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist them in finding products and provide friendly checkout service.
• Handle stock deliveries, replenish freezers and shelves, and maintain store presentation.
• Open and close the shop, manage cash, place orders and support the manager in daily operations.
• Work with the team to complete cleaning, tidying and routine tasks.
• Participate in regular apprenticeship assessments and complete coursework.

Required profile

• Positive, hardworking attitude and enjoyment of a busy retail environment.
• Reliability and willingness to be a key member of a small team.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts across the week.
• Basic numeracy and literacy; functional skills in English/Maths if required.
