Area Manager, Customer Fulfillment

About the role

As an Area Manager in Customer Fulfilment, you will lead a large, diverse team at an Amazon fulfilment site in Gateshead. You will ensure that operations run safely, efficiently and meet the high standards expected by Amazon customers.

Key responsibilities

• Create, oversee and promote a culture of safety and wellbeing across the shift.
• Analyse performance data and implement changes to maintain high quality and productivity.
• Lead projects that streamline processes, optimise productivity and improve service quality.
• Monitor shift performance against business objectives and drive operational excellence.
• Collaborate with senior managers to standardise shift practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor and coach new managers, acting as a role model for the team.
• Work with internal teams and external partners to meet customer demand and resolve operational challenges.
