Area Sales Consultant – Washroom Hygiene (North East & Yorkshire)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing, privately owned hygiene business as an Area Sales Consultant covering the North East and Yorkshire. You will work remotely while travelling to client sites, promoting high‑quality washroom, waste‑management and workplace‑hygiene solutions to commercial customers across England and Scotland.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new B2B business and grow existing accounts within the assigned territory.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including proposals and quotations.
• Build relationships with facilities managers, business owners and key decision‑makers.
• Present tailored hygiene solutions and conduct on‑site customer meetings.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline using the company CRM system.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven field‑sales experience in the washroom hygiene sector (e.g., PHS, Initial, Rentokil).
• Strong track record of winning new B2B business.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own territory.
• Full UK driving licence and residence within an NE or YO postcode area.
