Area Sales Manager - Building Products

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead the promotion and sale of high‑quality building support systems across the South East and East Anglia. You will work with national and independent builders merchants, managing an established portfolio worth around £3 million.

Key responsibilities

• Sell a range of masonry support systems, façade support, connectors, fasteners, anchors, wall ties, wind posts, tension bars, lintels and restraint fixings.
• Develop new business while maintaining strong relationships with existing merchant accounts such as Jewson, Travis Perkins, Huws Gray, MKM and Fortiss.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the region.
• Provide technical advice and product support to merchants and end‑users.

Required profile

• Proven external sales experience in the construction industry, preferably selling to builder merchants.
• Familiarity with building materials and products such as insulation, concrete, windows, doors, metalwork, fixings and cladding.
• Personable, driven and enthusiastic with a strong team‑player attitude.

What we offer

• Salary between £40,000 and £50,000 plus a 12% performance bonus.
