Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – Central Belt, Scotland

About the role

This position is for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor and Analyst to support a busy workload across Scotland's Central Belt. You will work on commercial, domestic and public sector sites, delivering both surveying and laboratory analysis services.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Perform air monitoring, 4‑stage clearances and re‑occupation certification.
• Collect bulk samples and ensure compliance with sampling procedures.
• Produce accurate, compliant reports following HSG264 and HSG248 guidance.
• Manage multiple site workloads and liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality throughout all activities.

Required profile

• BOHS P402, P403 & P404 certification (essential).
• Proven experience in a dual Surveyor / Analyst role.
• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload across several sites.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Professional, organised and reliable.
