Asbestos Surveyor – London & South East

About the role

Penguin Recruitment is supporting a UKAS‑accredited asbestos consultancy in London and the South East. The Asbestos Surveyor will deliver management and refurbishment & demolition surveys for a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and public sector properties.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Perform bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of property types.
• Produce accurate, compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Manage own workload efficiently while receiving support from an established operations team.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance.

Required profile

• BOHS P402 qualification (essential).
• Minimum two years’ experience as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
• Previous experience within a UKAS‑accredited consultancy is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication, organisational and report‑writing abilities.
