ASD Teacher – Specialist SEN College (Ealing)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced ASD Teacher to join our specialist SEN college in Ealing. You will work with young adults aged 16‑25 who have autism and a range of additional learning needs, helping them develop academic, communication and life‑skills for independence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to autism spectrum learners.
• Collaborate with support staff, therapists and families to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual goals.
• Promote independence, communication and functional life skills alongside academic achievement.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the college’s safeguarding and wellbeing policies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching students with autism and complex needs in an SEN setting.
• Strong commitment to inclusive education and student development.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families.

Required skills

• Experience delivering differentiated instruction for autism spectrum learners.
• Knowledge of strategies to support communication, social interaction and daily living skills.
• Familiarity with SEN policies, safeguarding procedures and individualized education plans.
