Assessment Officer

About the role

Join Transformative Business Services (TBS) as an Assessment Officer and play a pivotal part in delivering live, online assessments for major Government and Public Sector clients. You will work in a fast‑paced digital environment, using specialist platforms to ensure a smooth, fair and consistent candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and deliver professional online assessments, interviews and role‑play exercises via platforms such as Sova and Microsoft Teams.
• Provide real‑time technical support to candidates, troubleshooting connectivity and system issues.
• Record assessment outcomes accurately and ensure all sessions are completed on schedule.
• Maintain high standards of quality and consistency across multiple assessment channels.
• Collaborate with mentors and the wider delivery team to continuously improve processes.

Required profile

• Experience in assessment delivery, recruitment, interviewing or structured candidate assessment.
• Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work under tight timelines while maintaining accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model with regular on‑site attendance.
