Recruitment Consultant – Financial Services (South & South East)

About the role

Reed is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to expand its Financial Services specialist practice across the South and South East of England. You will inherit an established client portfolio and be responsible for driving new business while deepening existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full 360 recruitment cycle – from business development and client acquisition to candidate sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation and placement.
• Generate new opportunities through targeted cold‑calling, attending sales meetings and networking events.
• Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients and maintain regular contact to understand their evolving hiring needs.
• Utilise Reed’s extensive candidate database and recruitment tools to source high‑quality talent.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and recruitment activity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment, sales or a client‑facing role, preferably within Financial Services.
• Strong business‑development mindset with a track record of building and managing relationships.
• Target‑driven, self‑motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with the regional manager.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
