Assistant Manager - Malt House, Birmingham

About the role

Greene King is hiring an Assistant Manager for its Malt House pub in Birmingham. You will be at the heart of the management team, helping to keep a busy pub running smoothly and leading by example so that customers and the team have a great time. The role is full time, permanent and scheduled for 45 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the business and lead the business in their absence.
• Bring the brand to life by leading the team in delivering great experiences for customers.
• Act as a role model for the team and support training and development.
• Uphold brand standards and ensure customer and team safety at all times.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering great customer experiences.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to get the best out of people.
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to the challenges of a busy shift.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
