Assistant Registrar – Admissions (16+ Entry Point)

About the role

The Assistant Registrar will lead the 16+ entry point for King’s co‑educational sixth form, overseeing admissions for both A‑levels and the International Baccalaureate. Reporting to the Assistant Head (Admissions), you will ensure a welcoming, efficient, and inspiring experience for prospective pupils and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for the 16+ entry point.
• Manage the full admissions cycle, from inquiry to enrolment.
• Coordinate with senior school admissions, senior management, and academic staff.
• Organise and attend weekend and evening events, offering time‑in‑lie where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records and reports using the school’s admissions database.

Required profile

• Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Personable with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Aligned with the school’s values and aims.
• Previous experience in school admissions.
• Flexible approach to events and departmental support.

Required skills

• Strong IT and database skills, with ability to adapt to new digital tools.
